Some of the programming is done on the lock itself before the app install and that was a bit challenging because it wasn’t 100% clear with the steps. It comes with a backup key in the event that the smart feature fails or the batteries die and the person who said they’d swap them out didn’t…(not that I have personal experience with this…). You will need your own screwdriver or drill to do the labor. You get all the parts and pieces you need for the installation in the box. It comes in two styles, Camelot and Century, as well as multiple finishes to match any style home.
